The Club aims to provide opportunities for families with twins, triplets or more: To meet on a regular basis in a supportive, friendly and informal atmosphere for social or educational activities. To share experiences and learn from each other. To benefit from negotiated discounts with retailers or discounts for group activities. To sell or exchange equipment, toys and clothing. and to these ends the committee organises the following with the support of the membership at large: a quarterly newsletter. a baby and toddler coffee morning twice a month. regular social events, including mums' nights out, a children's christmas party, a summer party and outings to activity centres or other entertainment. occasional speakers. regular sales. a network of contact mums and an ante/postnatal group. In addition, the Club aims to support families with twins, triplets or more who struggle to meet the financial burden of multiples by facilitating requests for and donations of equipment, clothing and toys. To this end the committee seeks to provide a contact route through community midwives and hospital-based social services. |
